Appleton Room

The Appleton Room, a classic historical 3rd floor room highlighting the Federal style architecture.

The Appleton room, one of three Bed and breakfast rooms in Salem – Marblehead, MA area. It is  located on the 3rd floor of the inn. It is the only room where you can see past the old Parker Brother’s Manufacturing site  to the North River. It retains the original fireplace mantle. It is the most recently renovated private bathroom with a cozy tiled heated floor and a calm coastal vibe.

Although the ceiling height is 6′ 7″, a “feature” of the Federal style architecture, it feels really spacious. There is ample space for a sectional, table and 2 chairs, dresser with a flat screen TV, a wing chair and a closet.

We use only hotel quality premium down and 100% cotton bedding. The rooms are equipped with hair dryers, extra towels and toiletries. The room provides top level cozy comfort.
